But aw...they are sooo cute! Wish they were plush toys so I can hug them to bed. ^ _ ^

Earnest here looks rather different from the previous post. He the sort who doesn't trust easily, so he doesn't really smile when he is about those he deems as "strangers". But when he with his family, he steals food from Flaren (younger brother), pulls Ardour-na's (younger sister) hair and later gets walloped by the two younger siblings, and jumps on Blaze's stomach in the middle of the night (ouch!).

These is one of those days where I have so totally no idead what the hell am I doing. Luke seems to look pretty grouchy, and Riya's staring at him... May thinks that the piccy depicts a dog and his owner, but I swear I had no such intention.

Celia and Celeste

Heh, this two girls from mi number 1 fiction. The one on the left is Celia and the right one (with the metallic parts) is Celli. Joelynn likes Celia particularly much be cause she is my first imaginary friend when I was in Primary 4. She was a unicorn then. ^_^

In this story, Celia and Celli are twins, with Celia fifteen minutes older. Because they are twins, so something kinda went wrong when the embryos in their mom's womb was separating so the muscles on the left side of Celli kinda went to Celia instead. So the right side of Celia is damn strong (*right leg goes kick kick kick kick kick!*) while left side of Celli is so damn weak it has to be supported by the metal armour you see on her, like if you remove that stuff her neck is depending on her head would roll of, and if you remove the metal armour what you would see would be something close to skin being stretched-wrapped over sticks. *Sigh...* Okay, let's NOT imagine that.

So anyway on the right side is the two of them in their animal forms, Celia's the winged unicorn, and Celli the swan (which is suppose to be black but I'm not going to ruin my work by colouring it). The swan thingy is drawn just for some artistic license cuz in the story she doesn't really change into her animal form (can you imagine how bothersome it would be to remove the human metal armour while supporting the neck, change, then put the swan armour on?).

An Introduction to my Worlds

Whenever Joelynn draws some people with weird-looking clothes May will ask why and Joelynn will try explain the background and history of whichever place the person comes from.

But Joelynn made so many worlds May got confused! Think me myself also cannot keep track (still dare to say...). So now going to keep track, penning them all down on mi blog.


World: Geae
Place: Some far planet revolving around another star (which is NOT Solaris)
Period: Current, future (for Fiction no. 11)
Fictions: 1, 2, 11

The people on this planets are actually the magicians (like wizards and witches) who migrated there like 700-plus years ago. There is something like this ancient magic cast by the first magician, "If one has a special talent, it should be used for the benefit of those who do not", something like that. But then the lousy people started to abuse their magic for their own selfish gain sometimes at the expense of the non-magic people (Rowling calls them muggles) so in the end the ancient magic whack them back and they were unable to save themselves when they were persecuted to be burnt at stakes, even the minority who did no wrong. The ancient magic thingy gave the non-magic people power over the magicians as long as the magicians abuse their power. With the situation like that, if the magicians don't find a way to deal with it they will all become extinct, so some genius finds this over planet that can support life too and everybody migrates there. Because they do not (or have no way to) hurt the non-magic people anymore, the magicians regained their power and used their magic to protect their new planet from earthling future space explorers.

About a centuries later, a dispute came out regarding the use of machines. The first group of people objected to the use of machines because they believe it is not something intented by nature. The second group wants the use of more modern mechanism because they are tired of having to do some work by themselves, nevermind what they do is just to wave their hands about. So the found that the only way to maintain peace was to separare, and each group choose their half of the planet and a big barrier was constructed in between them.

As decades and centuries pass, evolution seems to have taken place. While the first group of people maintained their magical powers and continued the usage of wands and brooms, the second group, due to their dependency on machines, lost almost all of their magic power, but estblished two main abilities: 1) the control of an "element" (stuff like fire, wood, metal, electricity etc.) and 2) to have an animal form to change into (like cat, dog or dinosaur whichever they prefer).
